Event Dossier: The Los Alamos Sportsmen’s Club (LASC) is hosting the inaugural Atomic City Challenge, a Tier 2 International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) match on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, in Los Alamos, NM.
The match consists of 9 exciting stages based on Los Alamos folklore, history and science. Be sure to pack your light, because the match includes one no-light/low-light stage. The Atomic City Challenge is open to all classifications and all divisions, except PCC.
Staff will shoot Friday, Aug. 2, and competitors will shoot on Saturday, Aug. 3. A raffle for all registrants after the match will offer a table full of great prizes, including guns, gear, and ammo! This match has a 137 round count.
Zero Hour: Aug. 3, 2019, from 7:30 am to 5 pm. (Staff reports the day before at the same time for their shoot.)
Match Fee: $90 and includes lunch, which will be provided during the match. You can order a match T-shirt for nominal additional cost on the registration page.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be granted up to July 1, 2019, after which time no refund will be given.

Los Alamos is 45 minutes northwest of Santa Fe and 110 minutes north of Albuquerque, NM.
